For tomorrow, you can look forward to a discussion of the roleplaying game Tyranny, developed by Obsidian Entertainment and published by Paradox Entertainment. ![]() On Thursday, I’ll publish a blog post about the movie O Brother, Where Art Thou? (2000), written and directed by the Coen Brothers (I also reviewed their more recent film Hail, Caesar!). In anticipation of issue 10’s release, I though it would be fun to do a short series of blog posts about different things that have taken inspiration from the ancient world (other than Star Trek!). That article originally didn’t have a short main title, so I stuck ‘History as inspiration’ on there, taken from a blog post that I wrote a few years ago for the Ancient Warfare editor’s blog. Issue 10, which is currently at the printer’s (and available for pre-order), features an article by Marc DeSantis about the connections between J.R.R. ![]()
